Roger-Yves Bost

Born 21st October 1965 Roger-Yves Bost, he began riding at the young age of eight, he is now a leading international showjumper and a key member of the French national team. In 1996 Roger-Yves Bost finished fourth in the individual olympics in 1996 and in 2016 he was a member of the French olympic gold medal winning team.

Roger-Yves Bost

Roger-Yves Bost started riding with his parents when he was still a child. He started competing very early with ponies and then with horses in Junior and Young Riders classes. He was already very successful with several placements in French and European Championships.

All along his career, Roger-Yves Bost won a lot of the most prestigious shows. He was World Champion with his team in 1990, 2nd World Champion with his team in 1994 and 1998. He was also 4th with his team at the Olympic Games of Atlanta in 1996.

In 2007, Roger-Yves was still performing, he was the first French Rider on the world ranking list (22nd).

Roger-Yves’s wishes for the future are to be efficient in international shows in order to still grow in the world ranking list. In 2009 Roger won the GCT Grand Prix of France in Cannes and also helped his country to win the Meydan Super League.
